At
California Electric Company, safety is a major concern.
We have developed and implemented an Injury and Illness Prevention
Program involving project planning, inspections, specific
jobsite training, material handling, tool use and maintenance,
jobsite safety meetings, substance abuse awareness and record
keeping.
In addition, California Electric Company personnel
have been certified for the Bay Area Training Trusts (B.A.T.T.)
Safety Course. For projects that are located at petroleum
and chemical facilities and are classified as "safety sensitive,"
we have implemented a certified random drug testing program
with third party monitoring supervised by Drug Intervention
Services of America (D.I.S.A.).
Documentation of our programs is available upon request.
